I was in Nepal! But you should GO as well:

In January/February i was in Nepal. I spend most of the time in the lower Everest-region. The trails are unspoiled and easy to walk. It is great to see so many people have build ( temporary) houses or are making preparations for a solid new house. I did a short trek from Paphlu airport to Junbesi, Thupten Choling monastery, Purthyang, Ringmu, Thaksindu and back to Paphlu. As said, the trails are perfect and there is so much to see. Especially if you have in interest in visiting monasterys. But if not, than the panoramic views of the complete Solukhumbu-region ( Everest) is spectacular and makes you want to look after that next mountain ridge. There were teahouses open for overnight stay and during the day for a nice cup of tea.

The Boudhanath stupa in Kathmandu was severely damaged during the 2015 earthquake. But the special atmosphere is still there. They are working very hard to restore this beautiful stupa to its old glory.

So, no reasons or excuses to stay home.

Go to Nepal NOW!
