DEAR NEPAL,

I just wrote a love letter to you. Who would have thought that just one day later, all has changed. With tears in my eyes I stare at my photos. I read the articles that I have already written. I watch all video captures we have created. I stare at the people I’ve met. Your buildings, streets, animals, clouds, mountains, trees, your dust particles in the air. A day later, everything is different. It hurts not knowing  if what I see is still there. The people. The children. The animals. The villages. The city. The temples. I hear that all my local friends are safe, but what is the definition of safe if you lose everything? I worry. Now, months later I still worry. It hurts so much to see that people are scared to visit Nepal again. And you need them NOW.
